Primary Reserve infantry regiment the Grey and Simcoe Foresters take centre stage at this year’s Heritage Dinner, Huronia Museum’s annual fundraiser.

The Heritage Dinner is being held on May 24 at the Oakwood Community Centre in Victoria Harbour. It will feature a presentation by Lt.-Col. (Ret.) Perry A. Rittershofer, formerly of the Grey and Simcoe Foresters, about their history and their mission since its founding in 1866.

“The Heritage Dinner is always a highlight of our year,” said Bryan Piitz of Huronia Museum. “It gives us a chance to get out into the community and share some of the stories that represent the rich history of our area.”

Tickets for the dinner are $75 each and can be purchased through Huronia Museum, in person or by telephone (705-526-2844).

The Huronia Museum Heritage Dinner featuring the Grey and Simcoe Foresters will be held May 24, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the Oakwood Community Centre in Victoria Harbour.
