A special weather statement is calling for more rain for the Midland area.

Environment Canada says lake effect rain showers are expected throughout today and tonight.

Our area could see another 15 to 25 mm, with the highest amounts expected to remain south of Parry Sound and north of Midland.

Rain will continue through today. The highest rainfall amounts are expected to remain south of Parry Sound and north of Midland.
