In a quiet space of the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre, a soft-eyed cat named Sojourner waits patiently, hoping for the right person to notice her. A bit shy but full of love, Sojourner is a one-year-old domestic short-hair with a gentle, quiet personality.
Though she may take a little time to warm up to you, once she trusts you, she’ll offer unconditional affection and loyalty. Sojourner enjoys having her own space, but she’ll curl up next to you when she’s ready.
Sojourner’s name was chosen because, like the famous Sojourner Truth, she’s been on a journey of self-discovery. She’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace.
