Meet Larry: A shy but sweet kitten in need of a loving home

Larry is a three-month-old kitten who’s looking for a quiet, loving forever home. He may be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, he has so much love to give.

Larry arrived at the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre as a stray alongside his two siblings. While he’s still learning to trust humans, he’s shown how playful and curious he can be, especially in the mornings when he’s happily batting around his favourite toys.

As the day goes on, Larry enjoys retreating to the cozy comfort of his “blanket burrito,” where he feels safe. He’s an independent little soul who thrives in calm environments. Larry is hoping to find a kindhearted adopter with a quiet home who understands his need for patience as he adjusts to his new surroundings.

Larry would do best with a cat-savvy adopter who can offer him the time and space he needs to feel safe and secure. Once you’ve earned his trust, Larry is sure to be a wonderful companion.

If you’re ready to give Larry the love and understanding he deserves, visit him today at the Midland & District Animal Centre. The centre is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more about Larry and see other animals available for adoption, click here.

Give an animal the gift of a loving home this holiday season with the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society's iAdopt for the Holidays campaign, on now until Dec. 24. Animals adopted from the Ontario SPCA are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated – plus they go home with food from Royal Canin to help them settle into their new home.

If you can't adopt, please donate or shop holiday items on Paws & Give™, the Ontario SPCA’s online giving store. Visit ontariospca.ca to give an animal a second chance this holiday season.
