MidlandToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Midland and District Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Perseverance is a little shy at first, but don't let that fool you—this sweet tabby has a heart full of love.
This friendly feline is only a year old and is available for adoption at the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and goes home with food from Royal Canin to help ensure a smooth transition into her new home.
Perseverance loves her quiet moments and can often be found lounging in a cozy corner, watching the world around her with curious eyes. When she feels safe, she will reward you with soft purrs and gentle head nudges. She may not be the first to run up to say hello, but once she’s comfortable, she’ll be your loyal, loving friend. It may take some time to earn her trust, but with time and patience, Perseverance will be your quiet companion for life.
Perseverance is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. She would do best in a quieter household with someone who has experience with cats and understands that it may take some time for her to settle in. Perseverance needs to be the only pet in the home, so she can soak up all the attention from her new family.
