Bay Sound Singers is a fun filled, all-ages adult choir that enjoys a variety of styles, including familiar, contemporary music. The choir enjoys the camaraderie of singing together while striving for artistic skill along the way. The ability to read music is not required but welcomed. The choir enjoys performing two concerts annually along with the entire Bay Sound Family. In addition, the choir is thrilled to take part in a number of community-based choral events including fundraisers and local festivals.
Bay Sound includes the children's choirs: Little Treble Makers (ages 6-8), Bay Sound Children’s Choir (ages 9-13) and the Bay Sound VIVO Choir (ages 14 - 18)
Conductor and Music Director, Victoria Warwick received her early training with Clifford McAree and James Anagnoson in Toronto and holds degrees of Bachelor of Music (Performance), Bachelor of Education and Master of Music (Collaborative Piano) from the Don Wright Faculty of Music, University of Western Ontario, where she studied with John-Paul Bracey, Peter Smith and John Hess.
In 1982, she joined the teaching staff at Conservatory Canada and was appointed an examiner in 1988. She was named National Executive Director of Conservatory Canada in 2001 and held that position for 13 years.
Victoria is Music Director at St. Paul’s United Church, Director of the Bay Sound Little Treble Makers, the Bay Sound Children’s Choir, Bay Sound VIVO Choir and Bay Sound Singers. She also directs the Bell A'Peal Handbell Choir and the Georgian Bay Ringmasters Handchime Choir as well as holding the position of Director of the Midland Y’s Men’s Music Festival.
