BGC North Simcoe, formerly known as Boys and Girls Clubs of North Simcoe, is a dedicated non-profit organization serving children and youth aged 4 to 18 in Midland, Ontario, and its surrounding areas. Operating from the North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre at 527 Len Self Blvd, Midland, ON, L4R 5N6, the club is committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for young individuals.
Mission and Vision
BGC North Simcoe's mission is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life. The club envisions a community where all young people discover and achieve their dreams and grow up to be healthy, successful, and active participants in society.
Programs and Services
The club offers a variety of programs designed to meet the developmental needs of children and youth:
After School Program: A quality program for children aged 4 to 14, providing intentional, well-organized, and developmentally appropriate activities. This program offers a safe and fun environment that promotes positive values, enhances self-esteem, and builds resiliency. Transportation is available from select schools, and the program runs from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at a cost of $15 per day. Program operates in Midland and Victoria Harbour
Camps: BGC North Simcoe organizes camps during school breaks, including March Break and summer, for children aged 4 to 15. These camps provide structured days filled with hands-on activities, outdoor time, and opportunities for socialization, fostering friendships, confidence, and skills. Camps offered in Penetanguishene and Midland
Additional Programs: The club offers various engaging recreation based programs such as Dodgeball and Monkeynastix.
Community Impact
