A Passion for Fashion Inc. ladieswear opened its doors in November 1991. Owner, Nancy Yip has grown it from a 350 square foot store in Midland, ON to 1600 square feet at its current spacious location of 88 Main Street in Penetanguishene, ON. The boutique specializes in carrying top brand name fashions such as Joseph Ribkoff, Tribal, Charlie B, Sympli, FDJ French Dressing and more in sizes 2 - 16, XS - XL. Nancy says that the clothing in her boutique is made for women, with the fit and styles chosen to flatter a woman's body and her curves. They also carry a full lineup of accessories to coordinate with their fashions. She and her staff are proud of the personalized shopping experience they provide for their clientele, giving friendly, experienced advice and an honest opinion.
Nancy's passion for fashion extends to art, which is featured prominently in her shop. Local artists' works are shown and rotated in a three month period, creating a mini gallery highlighting the vast talent in the North Simcoe area. Special events such as trunk shows include other local businesses, building a network of entrepreneurial teamwork. Lastly, the community is of high priority with their support of local charities, creating fundraising events, partnering with the Town's Winterama, and volunteering in the organizing of a much loved Downtown Penetanguishene event, Christmas on the Hill.
