LETTER: Reader appreciates story on 'woefully under-reported subject'

Dear Editor,

Just a short note to thank you very much for writing the above-noted article.

I think it is an amazing piece of journalism (and touching), and on an important, but woefully under-reported subject.

Here's hoping that efforts such as yours increase the discussion about the lack of affordable housing, including weighing the pros and cons about guaranteed incomes (something I strongly support) as a partial solution.

We simply can't sit and wait for elected officials to do anything about the crisis, unless they know that it is an important issue among the electorate.
