Vehicles of all types were on display for people of all ages at the Huronia Airport on Saturday.
Bill Snelgrove, president of Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) local Flight #73, said that turnout was as expected for the annual event.
“Everybody’s having a blast. The airplanes are maybe down a little bit, but that’s because it was so windy earlier,” said Snelgrove.
On display are dozens of planes and classic automobiles, as well as the Huronia Model Railroad Club’s exhibition.
Snelgrove hoped that locals and visitors would take advantage of the good weather to explore the airport and see the developments in store for the community, through similar events such as the winter ski fly-in, motorcycle show and swap meet, and the Discover Aviation event for kids in September.
The free event runs through Saturday at the Huronia Airport, located at 20 Ed Connelly Dr. in Tiny Township. Further information is available on the Huronia Airport (CYEE) website.
