Blowing snow advisory issued for:
   Barrie - Orillia - Midland, Ont. 
   Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County, Ont. 
   Listowel - Milverton - Northern Perth County, Ont. 
   Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County, Ont. 
   Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County, Ont. 

Current details:
Poor visibility locally near zero in snow and blowing snow is expected.

What:
Reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow.
Snowfall amounts of 7 to 12 cm.
Icy and slippery conditions as temperatures rapidly fall below the freezing mark.
Northwesterly winds gusting to 70 km/h.

When:
After midnight through Thursday evening.

Additional details:
Rain showers or periods of drizzle are expected tonight, however, temperatures are expected to fall after midnight resulting in icy surfaces. Snow and widespread blowing snow is also expected and may reduce visibility to near zero at times, particularly over exposed areas.

Conditions are expected to improve Thursday evening. However, lake effect snow squalls could affect some areas beginning Friday morning.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Road closures are possible.
