Coldwater was awash in a sea of green on Sunday as leprechauns, green tartans, and all things Irish took over the town during its popular annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
The festivities got underway at 1 p.m. as the parade began to make its way down the main street of Coldwater.
About 100 people came out to watch the event, which featured bag pipes, drums, local dignitaries, and anyone from the area dressed in green who wanted to take part.
Following the parade, an Irish party took centre stage at the Coldwater Legion, featuring green beer, live music by the band Spandex, and all things Irish.
"Today is a community tradition that celebrates our Irish population,” said Debbie Southorn, the Coldwater Legion's Sergeant at Arms.
Among the many people who turned out for the festivities was local resident Phyllis Smith.
“Today is a great day and the luck of the Irish has made its way to Coldwater,” Smith said.
Everyone who attended could be seen revelling in the spirit of the event.
The Irish party continued Sunday afternoon and into the evening at the Coldwater Legion.
