Deciding to open local Chuck's Roadhouse location a 'no-brainer'

Chuck's Roadhouse is now open in Midland.

Local diners now have a new place to check out.

Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar and Grill officially opened its doors Friday afternoon on King Street in Midland.

Corey DeNeire, marketing director for Chuck’s parent company Obsidian Group Inc., says the decision to open in Midland was an easy one.

“Our development team is very particular about which locations we select for a new Chuck's, not only for presence across Canada, but, to ensure that we open new locations where we know the community will enjoy us most,” DeNeire told MidlandToday.

“For Midland, this was a no-brainer, the team found that residents of Midland were in need of a great restaurant and hungry for a place that serves incredible steaks - so we had to be a part of this great city.”

DeNeire said the Midland location, which is in the building that once housed Lot 102 and later PIE, will employ between 20 and 30 full-time staff members along with 15 to 20 part-time employees.

Added DeNeire: “This location will be able to accommodate for an exciting 180 guests at one time, so bring your friends and family.”

DeNeire said people like Chuck’s Roadhouse locations because of their affordable prices and high food quality. As examples, he notes that a AAA 7oz. top sirloin is priced at $15 while AAA steak and lobster is $25 and draught beer starts at $4.

“Offering our guests amazing food is one thing, but being able to offer it for prices that don't break the bank is what we have pride in,” DeNeire said.

DeNeire said Chuck’s offerings are different from other restaurants that fall in the same casual dining category.

“We serve AAA steaks that are sourced and prepared carefully to ensure that each and every bite is memorable to our guests,” he said. “Every Chuck's Roadhouse is equipped with a huge TV wall to catch the game with your friends and our pricing is second to none. Making sure guests who are looking to save money are able to do so in this day and age.”
