A motion hearing will take place Friday as part of a coroner’s inquest into a helicopter crash that killed four people, including an Orillia man, in 2017.

Four Hydro One employees — Kyle Shorrock, 27, Jeffrey Howes, 26, Darcy Jansen, 26, and Orillia’s James Baragar, 39 — were killed Dec. 14, 2017, when the helicopter they were in crashed at a construction site in Tweed. The incident led to the launch of a coroner’s inquest.

The motion hearing will start at 9 a.m. Friday, with submissions being made remotely. Members of the public wanting to watch the hearing can do so here.
