Legion donates to 'vital' GBGH MRI campaign

Hospital foundation notes that bringing MRI services to GBGH will mean better access to this vital diagnostic technology for thousands of individuals in North Simcoe every year

Representatives from the Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Provincial Command Branches and Ladies’ Auxiliary Charitable Foundation recently visited the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation to present a gift of $6,500.

The donation will be invested toward the purchase of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine for the Midland hospital.

The foundation noted that bringing MRI services to GBGH will mean better access to this vital diagnostic technology for thousands of individuals in North Simcoe every year.
