GUYS WHO CARE NORTH SIMCOE

Guys Who Care kicked off their 2023 season with a meeting at Midland Golf and Country Club on May 15.
From the three local charities presented at the meeting, the relatively new Georgian Bay Food Network (GBFN) was selected as the recipient of the group's latest funding effort. A cheque for $17,675 was presented to Alexandria Hamelin, Executive Director of GBFN.
Guys Who Care North Simcoe are delighted to pass the $300,000 milestone in total giving with this donation. Guys Who Care have now been in existence for seven years and in that time have made significant donations to 13 local charities. The Guys organization has no overhead and every single dollar raised goes directly to the beneficiary charities.
Georgian Bay Food Network opened its doors in December 2021 under the direction of Executive Director Alex Hamelin. Alex credits two Guys members, Leo Houle and Bob Dolan, for their very significant help in getting GBFN off the ground.
