Local kennel's food bank campaign gives pet parents some Christmas love

Pet parents struggling to stretch their budgets are getting a helping hand from a local business.

Maple Trails Kennel owner Janette Garrod set up a “Don’t Forget the Pets” Christmas food drive for the Victoria Harbour Food Bank.

The response from her  friends and clients was overwhelming.

The theme of the drive: “This time of year, it is difficult for pet parents trying to stretch their budget. We can help!”
