The Villa Retirement Lodge recently welcomed more than 30 classic cars to the daily mix.
During a 1950s-inspired theme day earlier this week, lodge residents were able to view and enjoy a visit from the Wasaga Beach Cruisers car club to the Yonge Street location.
The special day started with a fun and games morning that included a round of name that celebrity, fun facts of the 50's and a little trivia. That was followed by a drive-in diner themed lunch. In the afternoon, the car club members lined up on Yonge street as they slowly "cruised" through the parking lot, waving at residents and honking in support of this fun day. The party continued indoors for an impromptu sock-hop dance party.
