Our mission at MidlandToday is to strengthen the communities we serve and in the spirit of strengthening the Midland community, we are spearheading a food drive in support of the Georgian Bay Food Network.
The holidays can be a stressful time for many families and now more than ever, the Georgian Bay Food Network needs our help to keep the shelves stocked.
In response to that need, we purchased grocery store gift cards for our loyal readers to purchase for the Georgian Bay Food Network through an online pop-up store.
MidlandToday then matched whatever was purchased as a cash donation.
That means for every food package purchased in our pop-up store from now until Dec. 15 at 12 p.m., each dollar will be matched and all proceeds will go directly to the Georgian Bay Food Network.
Here is how you can buy a gift card in support of the Georgian Bay Food Network:
- Log in to your MidlandToday account (or register for free).
- Select a gift card you would like to donate and enter your credit card details.
- Check the 'Confirm’ button and click ‘Donate’ to confirm your purchase.
- That's it, you did it! You gave back to our community this holiday season.
MidlandToday is proud to lead this worthwhile cause in an effort to reduce hunger and poverty in our community, particularly as the holiday season draws near.
