The Penetanguishene Centennial Museum is certainly getting into the spirit of the season.
Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m., the museum hosts Night at the Museum. The event, which is recommended for adults, costs $10 per person and gives participants a chance to “bravely” listen to museum staff's first-hand experiences of unusual spiritual happenings at the museum, including the filming of the Rescue Mediums television show.
Then the following Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, the museum hosts its "Spooktacular" event. Costing $5 per child (adults free), attendees will be able to experience the museum at its haunted best, participate in a spooky themed scavenger hunt and take home both a craft to make and a trick or treat bag.
Then on November 18, the museum hosts an escape room challenge.
Costing $25 per person and presented by Escape Challenge North, participants will use clues provided by Beck "family members" to try to solve their team's lock combination and escape the museum. Teams of up to six people or individuals are welcome with light refreshments included.
