Quest Art School + Gallery has unveiled a new brand for its children’s programming.

Called Petite Picassos, it will serve as the “vibrant umbrella” under which all children’s art programming will now operate.

According to Quest communications consultant Stephanie Rumball, its purpose is to provide an innovative extension of Quest that inspires creativity and artistic expression among young artists aged three to 12.

Quest executive director Lawrence Sagar the fresh identity is more than just a name.

“It's a vibrant world where children and youth can explore their creativity, express themselves freely and build their own artistic journey,” Sagar said.

“We hope this new launch will usher in an innovative era for our organization, where we can continue to inspire young minds and cultivate a lifelong love of art.”

Rumball said Quest will kick off Petite Picassos with the launch of its new offering, The Explorers Club.

“This innovative program will allow participants to embark on an imaginative six-week journey through painting and drawing, cartooning and anime and mixed media,” Rumball said.

“In addition, Quest looks forward to introducing a host of new and engaging opportunities to inspire and delight its community, including Puppeteers, Camp Quest,” and a virtual program that is currently in development thanks to the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Fund (OTF) SEED Grant.”

A full class schedule for Petite Picassos will be released in the coming weeks, with classes starting in January.
