Bruce Babando passed away peacefully at the age of 69.
After losing his 2.5 year battle with cancer. He stayed strong in fight with cancer always trying to stay the husband, father and grandfather we always knew, never letting the cancer win. He leaves behind his beloved wife Vicky after 48 years together. His children Katrina and Christopher. His son in law Mitchell and daughter in law Meagan. His wonderful grandchildren Addyson, Emmett, Rhea, and Beau. He leaves behind his loving sisters Suzanne and Wendy.
Bruce was very proud of family and all their accomplishments, he loved sharing photos and stories about them. He loved to reminisce with friends and telling tales of their adventures. His presence will be greatly missed. We wish to recognize the care provided by all the staff at Princess Margaret and SunnyBrook hospital at the cancer and radiation department for all their support and professionalism given.
It would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to the Georgian Bay Cancer Centre or Algonquin Park. Details on the celebration of life to follow. He will forever be in our hearts.
