With saddened hearts we say goodbye to our beloved husband and father.
He spent his life working for his family until he retired 5 years ago. He was a great guitar player so he was now able to pursue his passion. He loved bluegrass and country music. He enjoyed camping and playing music with his friends, with some tequila being passed around. After a few rounds, he often said that his guitar played itself.
He leaves behind his wife Yvonne of 58 years and sons Derek (Tina) and Graham (Karen). Cherished Pere to his 5 grandchildren Tyler, Hunter, Forest, Tatum and Kaylee and his two great-grandchildren Ronan and Raya. He also leaves behind 2 brothers Robert (Margaret) and Allen (Janet) and his sister Barbara.
Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that any contributions be made to Hospice Huronia Tomkins House.
