March 9, 1944 – January 3, 2025
Heaven has gained another angel this evening. On behalf of the Corbier family we are sadden to give the news of the passing of a great man, husband, father, papa and great papa, David Corbier March 9, 1944- January 3, 2025.
He was surrounded by family until the very end and is now reunited with his parents, brothers and sisters and his loving wife Anne of 48 years, his daughter Sharon and granddaughter Kathy. He is survived by his children Bobby (Bobbie-Jo), Janice (Steve), Terry and Valerie (the late Randall Chillcott), his sister Mary Jenkins (Floyd), sister in law Faye Corbier and brother in law Ronnie Banks (Linda). He will be greatly missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A jokester until the very end, if you happen to feel a kick in the ass out of nowhere know that it is him. Dave was a proud employee for the Town of Midland in the Parks department for 30 plus years where he retired in 2010.
Fondly known as "Corb" to his many friends he will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral service as this were his wishes cremation to take place and a celebration of life with burial will take place in the spring. We would like to thank the many staff members of GBGH that have had the pleasure of helping take care of Dave these last few weeks especially his favourite nurse Avery and Dr. Thomas for their compassion and care.
In Lieu of Flowers the family ask that a donation be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
