Air Canada Captain (Retired) filed his final flight plan and flew west in his ninety-fourth year.

Beloved husband of Seiko Shirafuji, predeceased by his first wife of 58 years, Lois, and by his sister Bernice Skleryk. Devoted father to Michael (Cindy), Daniel, and Lynn/Jay, grandfather to Franque, and great-grandfather to Oliver and Penelope

Duff enjoyed 36 years of flying with Trans-Canada Airlines/ Air Canada in a variety of aircraft from the DC-3 to the Lockheed 1011. He was also a flight instructor on the DC-9 and the Boeing 727 and a check pilot on the Boeing 727 and 767.

He made many ski trips to the Alps and the Rockies, and in recent years curled at the Penetanguishene Curling Club. In the summer months, he and Seiko (in previous years, Lois) cruised the canals, rivers, and lakes of the Great Lakes system from their home on Georgian Bay. They also did ocean cruises to Alaska, Japan, Australia, South America, Caribbean, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Greenland.

He was a 30 year member of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary in District 4 on Georgian Bay. He also served as President of the Probus Club of Severn Sound.

A private family service will take place at the Nicholls Funeral home in Midland Ontario, followed by cremation. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
