It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Jill Garvin, on Sunday October 20th, 2024, after a short illness. The incredible loss that we are feeling is unimaginable. We all are incredibly proud of our Mom, who raised all five of her children on her own. She was there when we needed her, and she dedicated her life to her children.
Jill leaves behind her five children, Wendy (Kevin), Linda (Chad), Bill (Rachelle), Steve (Lori) and Erin. She was proud to be Nanny and Great Nanny to Stephanie (Brandon), Josh (Vanessa), Billy, Nathan (Hope), Madie, Ryan, Hudson, Jamie, Gabby, Elizabeth, Xavier, Gabe, Jillian, Alex, Jaxon, Connor, and Denver. Her sisters and brother are also mourning her loss, Lori (Dan), Cathy (Mike), Gord (Debbie), and Coralee. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Joan, stepfather Clayton, brother Byron, sister Jennifer and niece Meaghan.
She will be greatly missed by good friend and, our great Aunt Lynda (Don) along with many nieces and nephews whom she was able to share many milestones and celebrations with.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be no service as requested by Jill. In lieu of flowers we are asking that donations be made to the Georgian Bay Cancer Centre.
May you rest in peace Mom. You have left a hole in our hearts that will only be filled when we see you again.
