Pauline Gignac passed away suddenly on October 28th, 2024, at the age of 54. She is survived by her three daughters Ashley Charlebois (Kyle Hounsome), Brianne Charlebois and Nicole Charlebois, grandson Elliot Hounsome, loving partner Dave Ward, former husband & father of her children Terry Charlebois and former in-laws Judy & Ernie Charlebois. Predeceased by Gabriel “Gabe” and Elizabeth “Betty” Gignac. Pauline will also be missed by all her bonus children, bonus grandchildren, extended family, friends, coworkers and by everyone she knew.
Pauline will be remembered for being such a determined hard worker at her job Raytheon Elcan. Her bright, sassy, witty and brutally honest personality touched so many people’s lives. Everyone looked to her for advice, guidance and felt the most comfort when around her. She was a safe space for many people and we will be so lost without her. The love Pauline shared for all animals including her squirrels in her backyard, going for hikes with her best friend/love, taking long drives to see the scenic routes and the head banging 80’s rock & roll will live on through the people who loved her most.
A celebration of life for Pauline Gignac will be held at Knight’s of Columbus Hall in Penetanguishene on Friday November 8th from 11am-1:30pm. There will be a light lunch and refreshments provided, as well as an alcohol cash bar available. Relatives and close friends are welcome to join after at St Ann’s cemetery for the interment.
