It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Hickman, who left us on January 22, 2025, at her home in Midland, Ontario.
Dianne was born on August 11, 1946, and was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Hickman. Dianne’s love for her family was unconditional and boundless. She was a devoted mother to Terry (Monique) and Richard (Jennifer), always offering a listening ear, a word of encouragement, and an embrace of warmth. As a grandmother, Dianne’s heart was full as she adored each of her grandchildren—Emily (James), Brittany (Craig), Jenna (Derek), John (Natasha), Samantha (Cameron), and Kaitlyn. She celebrated every milestone, every laugh, and every moment spent with them. Her heart grew even bigger with the arrival of her great-grandchildren— Kovey, Peyton, Dallas, Beckett, Bryson, Colton, Jaxon, Delilah, Kai, and Oliver. To them, she was a constant source of love and comfort, filling their lives with joy and wisdom.
Dianne had a quiet strength that touched everyone around her. Her compassion, her generosity, and her genuine care for others will never be forgotten. She gave selflessly, loved deeply, and created a family that reflects her nurturing spirit. Though Dianne may no longer be with us, her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
