Herbert “Herb” Floyd Kerton, 81, passed away on Saturday October 19, 2024 at RVH in Barrie, ON, after a short battle with cancer.
Loving husband to Gloria, father to Annette, Deborah (David), and Michael (Janice), Papa to Amy (Tyler), Sadie (Braden), Travis, Adam, and Bree (Zack), and great grandfather to Adalynn and Jayce.
Herb loved spending his time playing pool surrounded by friends, and was always happy to teach anyone to play. As a snowbird, he would often spend his winters in Texas and participate in local pool tournaments. He also enjoyed hunting, birdwatching, and going to his trailer up north.
Herb was described as a great friend, and a kind gentleman by his closest friends. He touched many lives and will truly be missed.
There will be a celebration of life for Herb this Sunday October 27, at The Place Seniors Club on 300 Balm Beach Road W in Tiny from 1-4pm for anyone who wishes to join.
