It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mitch Maracle on Thursday March 20th, 2025, surrounded with love in his final days.
Born October 24, 1953 to Emerson and Gloria Maracle. Father to Angela Mayer (Scott), Alisen Maracle, Adam Maracle (Michelle), Ayla Maracle (Rob), and Adrian Maracle. Grandfather to 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. Husband to Debbie Maracle. Brother to Sandra McQuade, Albert Maracle (predeceased), Edward Maracle (Darlene), Deborah Maracle (Bryon), Kathy Maracle (Murray), and Nelson Maracle (Darlene).
Mitch will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, his love of music, his jolly laugh, his big heart, his fame in the Dominican Republic as Papa Noel, and his love of animals. He loved the outdoors and being surrounded by nature.
Special thanks to GBGH for the care and compassion while he was there. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Penetanguishene Funeral Home. As per his wishes there will be no funeral.
A Celebration of Life will take place this Saturday, March 22nd at 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Captain Ken’s in Penetanguishene. If desired, donations can be made to the Midland O.S.P.C.A.
