Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay Hospital Hospice on Wednesday December 4th, 2024 at the age of 92 years. Jimmy was predeceased by his wife Joan, his parents John and Florence (Elsie) and siblings Mary, William (Bill), David, Lawrence (Laurie) and Phillip. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews across the county and his extended family and friends.
Born and raised in Toronto, and later moved to Mississauga with his wife Joan and subsequent move to Port McNicoll. His many loves included being a taxi driver as he found people interesting and enjoyed hearing about their lives and sharing of stories. Jimmy loved his dogs and cats and always had a soft spot for them throughout his life.
A private graveside service will be conducted in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Midland Branch of the Ontario SPCA or the Georgian Bay Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
