With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Mel H. Nelson on Wednesday December 18th, 2024.
Beloved husband of 42 years to Muriel. Loving father to Mel J. (and wife Amanda), and Jennifer. Loving grandfather to Nicholas and Jackson through stepson Greg Power. Dear brother to Nancy Forbes, Shirley Semple, Marie and Ginny Nelson. Predeceased by his parents Melville and Gladys and sister Laura Hoister. He will be fondly remembered by all family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to a visitation on Sunday December 22nd starting at 12:30 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2 o’clock. If desired, donations in memory of Mel may be made to Diabetes Canada or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
