It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Wendy Spreitzer on September 25, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. Wendy is predeceased by her husband Karl and her parents. She will be dearly missed by her son Dave (Catherine) and grandsons Jonathan, Jim and Will. She is also survived by Karl’s siblings and their families.
The Spreitzer family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Huronia for caring for Wendy and ensuring she passed with comfort and dignity.
The family would also like to thank the Dzoch and Phelps families for walking this path with Wendy and us.
Friends, family and quilting guild members are invited to a come and go celebration of Wendy’s life and work at Salon Funeraire – Penetanguishene – Funeral Home on October 5 any time between 1 and 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Wendy’s name to Hospice Huronia.
