Eleven charged with impaired offences during local Festive RIDE campaign

Nearly 2,000 vehicles were checked and 11 people were charged during Southern Georgian Bay OPP’s Festive RIDE campaign.

The campaign began Nov. 22 and wrapped up Jan. 1. It included more than 135 checkpoints, resulting in 1,974 drivers and more than 300 snowmobile operators being checked.

Eleven people were charged with impaired driving offences.
