As a result of an ongoing police investigation, four local residents face a slew of charges, including cocaine and opioid possession.
On Thursday shortly before 11 p.m., members of the OPP community street crime unit from the Southern Georgian Bay, Huronia West and Collingwood detachments executed a search warrant at a Robert Street residence.
Investigators assisted by local uniformed officers arrested 12 people found in the residence. Their investigation led to the seizure of a quantity of the following drugs- methamphetamine, fentanyl, MDMA, cocaine, numerous prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and weapons.
A number of those arrested were later released unconditionally after the initial scene investigation was concluded.
Charged in relation to this continuing investigation are the following individuals:
Rhylee Brennan, 23, of Midland
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance - opioid (other than heroin).
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance - cocaine.
Rebecca Bouchuyt, 35, of Tiny Township
- Failure to comply with an undertaking.
Alexandra Chalykoff, 34, of no fixed address
- Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court.
All three were released from custody with a June 8th court date.
Also arrested was Blair Edward Clare, 31, of no fixed address. He faces two charges of possession of a schedule 1 substance - opioid (other than heroin).
Clare was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and held for bail court and will appear in court at a future date.
