A Midland man has been charged in relation to a collision last month in Springwater Township that killed two seniors.
On Feb. 8 at about 11:55 a.m., emergency crews responded to a head-on collision involving three vehicles on County Road 27 between Flos Road 11 and Baseline Road. Two people, both Midland residents, were pronounced dead at the scene.
On Tuesday, Huronia West OPP said police had charged Spencer Fulton, 30, with two counts of dangerous operation causing death. He was also charged with 12 counts of operating a motor vehicle while prohibited. Those charges relate to 12 incidents that occurred between October 2019 and January 2025.
The accused remains in custody and has an April 2 court date in Barrie.
