The full-blown winter weather has been teasing us in the last few weeks in parts of Simcoe County.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, with the OPP's Highway Safety Division, posted a video to X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday morning to explain some of the differences in types of tires and what to look for.
Winter tires or all weather tires with the ❄️ symbol will perform better in cooler temperatures (under 7⁰C) than all season tires.
