Southern Georgian Bay OPP are advising the public to avoid travelling on Simcoe County Road 6 today.
In a social media post, police says high winds and snow are creating whiteout conditions, causing numerous crashes. Tow-trucks are attempting to clear the road way of vehicles stuck either on the road or in the ditches.
"Please avoid County Road 6 if at all possible," Constable David Hobson says.
