City police uncovered a stolen vehicle in downtown Barrie as snow-removal efforts were underway on Wednesday.
During the late morning on Feb. 19, officers were contacted after a vehicle which had been parked behind a Dunlop Street East business was impeding snow removal in the parking lot area, according to police.
Police said the vehicle, a white GMC SUV, had been reported stolen in Toronto last Thursday.
The SUV, once uncovered from the buildup of snow, was towed without incident, and police in Toronto were notified as to where it was being stored.
