The Significant Weather Event has been lifted as of 4:00 p.m., March 12, 2025. The Operations team has completed snow cleanup on Town roads to comply with the Province's Minimum Maintenance Standards.
Thank you to the community for your support and patience throughout the last few weeks. Winter maintenance will continue during the day and overnight. Remember to avoid parking on roadways and to stay a safe distance away from maintenance vehicles.
The Town Operations crews worked day and night for many weeks through relentless snowfall and freezing temperatures. Burning through over 26,000 litres of fuel, they hauled nearly 3,000 truckloads of snow - creating a new snow mountain in Midland. Thank you again to our operators, mechanics, lead hands and all staff who battled through this incredible winter.
