What are other payment options in the event of a Canada Post service disruption?

Set up a pre-authorized payment plan at the Municipal office:

  • Visit the Municipal office to sign up for pre-authorized payment plans for water and property taxes. Bring a copy of your VOID cheque or the authorized banking information provided by your bank to complete your application.

Payments in person:

  • Complete your payment at the Municipal office with cash, cheque, debit card, or with a credit card (2.4% fee may apply), see more details.
  • Use the after-hours drop-box at the Municipal office located at the entrance on Third St., securely drop an envelope with payment information and cheque.

Payments over the phone:

  • Contact the Town Customer Service staff (705-526-4275 ext. 2255) to make a credit card payment over the phone (2.4% fee may apply), see more details.

Telephone and Online Banking:

  • Pay for water or property tax bills using online or telephone banking.
    • Water payment - use your water account number as the account number to pay (no decimal). 
    • Property Tax payment - use your roll number as the account number (no dashes).
