Also the nominations are now open for residents to show their local veterinary team some love for keeping their furry friends happy and healthy by nominating them in the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society’s Veterinary Appreciation Contest, which runs from June 17-28.

To help say thank you to veterinary teams who give so much, nominate your pet’s veterinary clinic and encourage family and friends to vote in support. The veterinary clinic with the most votes will receive a plaque and a complimentary lunch for their staff.

“We encourage anyone with a pet to take the time to nominate their local veterinary professionals,” says Dr. Jill Kirk, Chief Veterinary Officer, Ontario SPCA and Humane Society. “It’s a small gesture that can have a big impact in letting veterinary professionals know how much you appreciate everything they do to help the animals who bring us so much love and joy.”
