Santa Claus greets parade goers at last year's Midland Santa Claus Parade.

While the recent warm spell likely isn’t one think of winter, the Midland Civitan Club is inviting potential Santa Claus Parade participants to sign up.

Slated for November 30 at 11 a.m., the club’s 48th annual parade begins from Little Lake Park’s Yonge Street entrance before heading down to King Street.

“Our beloved parade promises to be a dazzling spectacle of festivity, featuring beautifully decorated floats, cheerful characters and the magical melodies of the season,” Midland Civitan Club parade chair and elf Kristyn Tinney said.

“It’s a perfect opportunity to come together, spread joy, and create cherished memories with family and friends.”

Tinney said this year’s parade will feature “a nostalgic Christmas” theme.

“We’re extending a heartfelt invitation to the entire community,” Tinney said. “If you or your organization would like to participate in the parade and bring your own nostalgic Christmas memories to life, we invite you to register today.”

Organizations and individuals are invited to visit the registration page found here. All registrants must provide proof of insurance  with registration not deemed complete until a certificate insurance is provided.

For more information, check the parade’s Facebook page.

“By joining and actively engaging with our Facebook event page, you’ll be helping us create a buzz and ensure that ‘A Nostalgic Christmas’ parade becomes a magical experience for everyone in our community,” Tinney added.

“We can’t wait to see you there, filled with holiday spirit and ready to make this year’s Santa Claus Parade an unforgettable experience for all.”
