Midland triples the fun with new playgrounds

Ribbon-cutting event will take place Wednesday at Edgehill Park

The fun factor has tripled in Midland with three new playgrounds.

As part of a town project to replace and enhance several park playgrounds, three new playground structures are at “Mac” McAllen Park, Tiffin Park and Edgehill Park, according to a news release from the town. They were made possible through funding from Infrastructure Canada’s Community-Building Fund, previously called the Gas Tax Fund.

The community is invited to celebrate during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. The event will take place at Edgehill Park, 287 Bayshore Dr.
