27-Mar-1973 - 11-Jan-2025

Our Jeff passed peacefully into heaven on January 11, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at Huronia Hospice in Penetanguishene, where they treated Jeff with outstanding dignity and respect. Jeff was young at heart and adored his family, survived by his parents; Larry & Diane Chapman and sister; Lorie (Dave dec.) and nieces Candace (Tim) and Meghan (Joe) and brother; Kevin (Kim) and nieces Karly, Alexis, Britney and sister; Sandra (David) and niece Madison (Zach) and nephew Nick and long time partner Christi.

Through the years Jeff enjoyed spending time at the family cottage and loved winter and snowmobiling, seadooing and golf. He also enjoyed visiting the Martyr’s Shrine and was a Christian. Jeff loved Christmas and for Jeff being with family in Midland was essential because there was no place like home for Jeff at Christmas time. He enjoyed travelling with family to Disney World, Jamaica and Cuba. Jeff went to Durham College in Oshawa for Business and later enjoyed a long career selling top quality seafood in various communities and was the successful owner of ~ Platinum Quality Foods.

Jeff will be remembered for his natural talent and sense of humor and for making others feel better about themselves. Jeff had a big heart and zest for life. Those who knew Jeff were better for it, he always had your back no matter what; he was quirky, silly and never took life too serious. Jeff knew life would be short, so he enjoyed it and appreciated every minute of it and everyone along the way. Sylvester Stallone and the Rocky series was Jeffs favorite, and Jeff embraced Sly’s motto: “keep punching and keep moving forward cause that’s how winning is done” ~ Jeff was a winner, our hero and so brave. Jeff, we hope you are enjoying your chat with Jesus in heaven and a quick game of golf with Dave M. Forever…Team Jeff ~ Team Jesus!

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to Huronia Hospice or the Cancer Society in his name.
