Dennis, Esther Violet (nee Messerschmidt)
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Hillcrest Village in Midland at the age of 100.
Esther, Beloved wife of the late Don Dennis (2017) for over 67 years. Loving mother of Joan Dennis – Newman, Warren (Germaine) Dennis and Diane (Peter) Sickinger. Cherished Grandmother of Jonathan (Elise), Jeffrey (Tobi), Morgan (Natalie), Larkin and the late Matthew. Caring Great-Grandmother of Nora, Noelle, Henry, Ethan and Graham. Esther will be missed by her in-laws, Murray and Olene Dennis, and her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Visitation at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home will begin on Friday, July 12 at noon till 1:00 with the service immediately following at the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow at the Wyevale Community Cemetery.
The family is inviting those who wish, to join them for a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 68, 2 Poyntz Street, Penetanguishene following the burial. Donation can be made to Parkinson's Canada, Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choosing.
