Gard, Maureen Jean (née Lewis)
Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Hillcrest Village Care Centre, Midland in her 90 year. Maureen was born in Edmonton , England March 10, 1935. Beloved mother of Michele (Ron) Pickering, Michael (Neta) Gear and Marian (Frank) Forestieri. Loving Nana of Nicole (Chris), Franco (Kristin), Katrina (John), Sabrina (Nathan) and Chloe. She will also be missed by her sister Margaret, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Hannah Lewis, her husband Sterling Gard and brother Terry Lewis.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
The family would like to take this time to say thank you to all the hard workers, Nurses and Doctors at the Hillcrest Village care center in midland for the great care provided to Maureen.
