Richard (Rick) Kennedy, passed away peacefully in the early morning at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, Ontario on Sunday, Nov.7/21 after a brief illness. Rick was born in Toronto on March 24, 1934. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Kennedy, step-daughter Catherine Elias (Jeff Corlett), daughters; Patricia Lynn Semple, and Kathleen Lichty (Doug). Grandsons; Richard Semple (Lisa) and Jordan Lichty (Rachel). Granddaughter Christina Semple and Savannah Braun (John), Great grandchildren; Melodie Semple and Richard Semple Jr. Great-great grandchild Violet. Rick was predeceased by his mother Stella Kennedy, brothers; Bob Kennedy and Ed Kennedy, and his daughters; Donna Turkington (survived by Ron and their children Kirk and Shannon) and Lori Salisko (survived by James and their daughter Holly).
The Memorial Service was held at the Midland Alliance Church on Friday, Nov.12/21, followed by interment at St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery in Orillia.
