Passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto on February 1, 2025 at the age of 73.
Beloved husband, soul mate and best friend of Donna for many years. Predeceased by his parents Alan and Bessie McLaughlin. Sadly missed and always remembered by his brother in law Jerry (Susan) Dybka, Niece Carly (Jeff), nephews Daniel and Jesse (Megan), great niece Lucy and great nephew Cooper. David was a long time member and dear friend of the Midland Curling Club and the Huronia Grey Jays ball team. He was a huge fan of Disney and anything to do with technology.
Guests will be received at Carson Funeral Home – J.H. Lynn Chapel 290 First St. In midland (705) 526-6551 on Monday February 10, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm and which time we will celebrate his life in the chapel starting at 12 pm. A reception luncheon will follow. Interment will take place in the spring at Wyevale Cemetery beside his parents.
Thanks to David’s best friend Wayne Carrigan and his daughter Jennifer for all of their selfless loving care, concern and support shown to both of us. Thank you. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer society or Georgian Bay General Hospital and are greatly appreciated.
