It is with a heavy heart that the family of Christopher Moreau announces his peaceful passing at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the age of 39.
Chris of Midland, loving son of Mary and the late Richard Moreau. Caring brother of Stephanie (Glen) Emptage. Amazing uncle to his precious niece Sadie Emptage. Cherished grandson of Joyce Hamelin. He will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends. Chris is predeceased by his grandparents Simeon and Alda Moreau and grandfather Mark “Mick” Hamelin.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Chris’ Aunt Margaret, his kidney donor, whose selfless act of love and kindness provided Chris 10 additional years of life.
Friends are invited to join the family on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Midland Cultural Centre from 1:30pm to 4:00pm to celebrate Chris’ life.
